GREGORY TAKES WIN AT LANDRAKE
Round three of the British Masters championship took place at the weekend, held at the ever popular Landrake circuit near Plymouth, with Lewis Gregory showing great form after recent injury woes.
Starting out in striking style, Lewis took the lead in race one half way round the first lap and continued to lead for the rest of the race to take the win.

K-Tech have had an expensive weekend at Thruxton this weekend as riders signed up to our contgency awards had great results! As the results speak for themselves it goes to show the contigency plan is well worth awarding to the top three podium riders. Extensive snowfalls this weekend, lead to Brands Hatch being abondoned. With a blanket of snow and still coming down rapidly a wise decision was made by
Jonathan Palmer, Chief Executive of MotorSport Vision, the owner of Brands Hatch, announced that following a review of circuit conditions and the latest forecast, the meeting would be cancelled for the day.

Practise/ Qualifying
Overnight rain left the polesworth circuit in mint condition, these were the thoughts i had as i was cruising round the first lap of practise.
I put together a smooth 20 minutes of steady riding and re adjusting to the bigger bike. I pushed in places where i felt comfortable and took it as practise more than qualifying. The time i posted put me in 8th position which was good as i was only cruising.

The day started with the MXY2 riders out on track for practice. The track was in good condition when the timed session started and it was Scott Elderfield that took pole over David Games and Edward Allingham with Josh Waterman and Joe Geogory in fourth and fifth. Josh Spinx came 9th in this first race, he then went into the second race with a very promising start with convincing results!

Sykes Storms To Debut Pole
Stobart Vent Axia VK Honda rider Tom Sykes continued his tremendous 2007 form by storming to his debut pole position at the penultimate round of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship at Donington Park today. Following on from successful podiums at Croft and Cadwell last month, the 21 year old Yorkshireman put in a lap of 1m 30.901s which was under the existing lap record and as a result will start tomorrow’s two 20 lap races from pole position.

The Raceways Yamaha team had a very successful weekend at Donington Park for round twelve Metzeler National Superstock Championship. Hudson Kennaugh took a commanding double win. His team-mate Jon Kirkham pulled off two second place finishes behind Kennaugh. Yamaha's Embassy team Glen Richards also had two strong results with 3rd in race 1 and 4th position in race 2.

Qualifying- With the circuit being pretty fast it was tricky to put in a fastlap because of traffic. By half way through qualifying, i had put in a steady 9th position so i came in for a drink and to discuss some lines with my mechanics. Riders using K-Tech products and technical support achieved more impressive results over the bank holiday weekend at the 11th round of the Bennetts British Superbike championship at Cadwell Park.
In the Superbike races riders using K-Tech technical support achieved some good results. In race one Stobart Honda riders Tom Sykes and Shane Bryne finished third and fourth respectively, Team Virgin media Yamaha rider Tommy Hill finished sixth with MSS Isilon Kawasaki rider Michael Rutter eleventh.

In the Supersport 600cc race Virgin Media Yamaha rider Billy McConnell raced to fantastic second place with team mate Tom Grant taking third. Both riders use the K-Tech 25SSK front fork race cartridge kits in there R6 Yamaha’s. Riders of Bridgewater rider Martin Jessop took his Ducati 749 to fifth place also using the K-Tech 25SSK front fork kit. In the 1000cc Superstock race nine of the top ten finishers were using the 25SSK front fork cartridge kit. Buildbase / JHP Ducati riders Bredan Roberts and John Laverty had a fantastic 1-2 in the race followed by Embassy Yamaha rider Glen Richards in third. It was a weekend of top-ten action for the Team Relentless Suzuki riders at Brampton in Cumbria this weekend, as round seven of the British Championship commenced.

Qualifying - Brad qualified 9th on a tight twisty circuit maiking it impossible to get a clear lap.He went from 1st into 2nd and then down to 10th, the times were all within three seconds.

Virgin Media Yamaha's Billy McConnell finally realised his full potential in the Supersport class as he transformed pole position into a last gasp debut victory at Croft today, 12 August.
Lining up for his third pole position of the season, Billy tucked in behind Ian Lowry who stole the holeshot from the lights. Stobart VK Vent Axia Motorsport rider Tom Sykes emerged from his local circuit of Croft with a superb double podium in both of today’s 20 lap Bennetts British Superbike Championship races.
After qualifying on the front row of the grid, the 21 year old Yorkshireman ran with the leading bunch in both races as rain clouds threatened overhead, but showing maturity beyond his years, Sykes muscled his way up on to the podium in front of another bumper BSB crowd.

Stobart Vent Axia Motorsport rider Shane ‘Shakey’ Byrne took his first victory of the season in a dramatic round nine of the British Superbike Championship held at Mallory Park.

Paul Edmondson made a last minute decision to attend the Erzberg Rodeo at the weekend.
When the Prologue times were released the team was pleased to see that Paul had taken the RM250 up the hill in 8th place (and 2nd 2 stroke). With his qualifying position safe the team made slight jetting and suspension changes, they fitted the RM250 with 14/44 gearing and waited for Saturday’s run.

The weather threw everything it had at the short and technical Scottish circuit with conditions fine and sunny for free practise on Friday, to heavy rain on Saturday afternoon and then saved the worst conditions for race day when they had rain, hail, thunder and even a few sunny spells.
